Design service options
We offer different design services depending on the size of your project and your budget.

Design Process
The design process starts with an initial consultation, usually this will happen over a video call or if possible, in person. This meeting is completely free. Taking the time early on to understand how you currently interact with your space and what you are wanting to recreate is important. Learning this knowledge early on in the project helps when coming up with the most accurate solutions to make it more accessible and personal to you. This is also an opportunity to get to know one another and to discuss your style preferences and budget.
Concept creation
After the initial consultation, a design concept will be developed in line with your brief. This combines your preferred style and any accessibility requirements to create inspiring mood boards with key samples and initial sketches to outline the design direction.
On visiting the site, measurements will be taken to create floor plans that will help you make the most of the space.
Detail and specification
This stage involves amending and fine tuning the floor plans and elevations so you can see the space come to life. With the designs confirmed, detailed drawing packages will be created and ready to share with your preferred contractors for a quotation. Rendered drawings can be created on request to bring the design to life.
Working to your budget, an itemised furniture schedule will be put together with an outline of costs, additional samples and joinery packages.
Purchasing and installation
With the furniture schedule and designs confirmed furnishings will be sourced to bring your vision to life. This involves working closely with suppliers and arranging delivery of items to your home.
Storey Interiors will help to manage suppliers and work with your contractors to ensure the vision for the design is achieved and key features are installed correctly. The final stages of the project involves reviewing the delivered items and ensuring their quality, positioning furniture and styling the space, ready to hand-over.
